According to a news that is posted by Punch Newspaper this morning, it has been alleged that men of the Ogun State Police Command have successfully arrested a 46 year-old man whose name was given as, Sobola Olatunji for allegedly killing his 38-year-old wife whose name was given as, Memunat Sobola, after suspecting her of cheating on him.

According to the information that was given, it was made known that the suspect said that he took his wife’s phone on Saturday and saw some messages on her phone which depicts that she was cheating on him and due to that, he confronted her about it and fight broke out between the two, of which the culprit, out of annoyance took their kitchen knife and stabbed his wife at the back.

It was made known that Memunat didn’t die immediately, but later gave up the ghost while she was being treated in the hospital where she was rushed to, as people held him down till Memunat’s father came and reported him at the police station of which he was arrested.

More information revealed it that the duo have being married for 20 years and the deceased have given birth to three children, before her untimely death.
